Depot Automotive & Restoration was established in 2012 in Utica, MS, by Al & Russell Stubblefield and Lauren Wilkes.  Russell, a Master Certified Mechanic, wanted a shop where he could offer local residents an honest repair at a fair price.  Once word got out that an ASE Certified Mechanic was available in our little corner of Hinds County, Depot Auto quickly outgrew the Quasett Hut in Al's backyard, and the pesent location was constructed.  Depot Auto was the first privately owned commercial building erected and opened in Utica in over 40 years.

Our techs and staff are experienced, friendly and believe in providing outstanding Customer Service, and we never "upsell" or recommend an un-necessary repairs. 

 

Russell Stubblefield is a veteran automotive technician with over 20 years' experience and holds available ASE Master Automotive Certifications.  He also holds certificates and special training for: all GM Makes and Models, including Corvettes and Saturn, Infiniti, Honda, SMART Cars, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Jeep-Chrysler-Dodge.  Russell is also a certified Caterpillar tech and an FAA Certified A&P.  

 

John Carson joined the Depot shortly after we opened our facility and brings over 16 years' experience as a tech and tuner.  John recieved his ASE Master Certifications in 2013.  He holds additional certifiations and training for Ford.  He is also certified for AC work and refrigerant handling.  He is fluent in AEM, Crome, Hondata, Apexi, Greddy e-manage and HP Tuners.

 

Lauren Wilkes is Russell's wife and what some folks call a "serial entrepreneur."  She has owned and operated several small businesses and enjoys getting to know her customers at the Depot.  She holds an MBA from Millsaps college and currently free-lances as a writer and business consultant when not running the office at the Depot.
